An AI operations assistant, live inside a Florida fabrication shop.

The client is an owner-operated custom fabrication business in Southwest Florida. Not a tech company. No IT department. The owner runs sales, scheduling, and production the way most owner-operators do: personally, all day, out of an inbox.

We name clients only with their written consent, so the client stays anonymous here. It is running today, and we can arrange a reference call.

The problem

The constraint on the business was the owner's attention. Every quote, every schedule change, every customer thread crossed one person's desk. Growth meant more hours, and the hours were gone.

What shipped

A dedicated AI operations assistant, installed on-site, built around the owner's actual day. It reads the business's email and calendar, surfaces what needs a decision, drafts the routine responses, and keeps the day's schedule and priorities in front of the owner without being asked. Anything that writes, sends, or books goes through the owner's approval: the assistant drafts, the owner decides.

How it was built

• Deployed inside the business, on hardware the client owns, with access the client can revoke.
• Read-only integrations by default; the owner approves anything that writes, sends, or books.
• Delivered as a working installation, not a strategy document. The owner used it the week it landed.

What stayed

The installation runs in the client's hands, and the owner operates it without us. The pattern is the same in a larger company: read-only first, a human gate on anything consequential, an evidence log on every action.
